Week 9 - 10

Next bi-weekly dev log is our final one. We are feature-locked, and can only work on bugs + polish. Playtested first week.

Week 9

  • Studio Meeting (2 hours)
  • Whole Game Playtest Session (1 hour youtube video)
  • Logging Bugs on Confluence, Excel, and Jira (1 hour)
  • Forest Fixes
    • Added circle of druid hitbox
    • Fixed bear overworld image
    • Fixed duck, groundhog, rabbit, raccoon, dialogue Character Art
    • Added Ant default dialogue before quest collection finish
  • Council of Deer
    • Fixed Deer Council Bouncer size to match the other deer members
    • Got rid of placeholders for each member of the council of deer, and created 8 unique Deer Councilor NPC Object with dialogue so it actually feels like a council when being interrogated.
  • Castle Fixes
    • Created new character expression objects and fixed dialogue image for Castle Gate Guard, Guard 1 and Guard 2

Week 9

  • Studio Meeting (2 hours)
  • Finished Level implmenetation of Village, Revisit, Forest, Fallen-Tree, and Repaired Bridge Scenes (1.5 hours)
    • No more temp art, temp dialogue, playtested bugs
    • Village Before Revamp
    • Village After Revamp
    • Destroyed Village Revamp
  • Bug Fixes
    • Null reference soft lock bug fix for Fungi Dialogue
      • When it publishing a new event for Card creation, the card creation code breaks when null reference. Fixed soft lock with check.
